Description
Ford Motor Company established a new division for the Continental Mark II with the successful aim to build an American car with the quality of Rolls-Royce. Expensive for its time, it came at a price of $10,000 and $10,430 with air conditioning. Regarding styling, the Mark II was ahead of its time with a simple, yet elegant interior inspired by aircraft and locomotive designs. One of 444 produced for 1957, every part of this hand-built car is of high-quality material, including the leather hides from Bridge of Weir, Scotland. It's powered by a 368ci V8 engine generating 300hp coupled to an automatic transmission and includes a binder of documentation.
