Amphicars were built in Germany from 1961 to 1968. Total production was 3,878 vehicles. The Amphicar is rear engined and has its original 4-cylinder British-built Triumph Herald motor producing 43hp. Also original is its 4 speed special two-part land-and-water transmission built by Hermes, the makers of the Porsche transmission. The Amphicar is moved in the water by its twin nylon propellers. This car has been in storage for the past 25 years. It has been repainted its original color of Regatta Red with black interior. Always maintained and used NOS parts. This is a right hand drive. Excellent condition.
